Autism Evaluation and Counseling Services

Autism Evaluation

A comprehensive evaluation for Autism Spectrum Disorder will include an assessment of cognitive abilities, behavior, social functioning, sensory processing, and adaptive abilities. These measures of ability and functioning are completed through direct assessment, observation, interviews, and psychological questionnaires. The exact instruments used vary by age and circumstance. In most circumstances, a comprehensive evaluation will include administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2)

Counseling/Support Services

Autism Spectrum Disorder affects each individual differently and as such the specific needs for support are unique to that individual and family. Common supports and counseling needs include client and family education, social skills development, adaptive skill development, emotional regulation skills, and executive functioning skills.
