Autism Evaluation

A comprehensive evaluation for Autism Spectrum Disorder will include an assessment of cognitive abilities, behavior, social functioning, sensory processing, and adaptive abilities. These measures of ability and functioning are completed through direct assessment, observation, interviews, and psychological questionnaires.  The exact instruments used vary by age and circumstance. In most circumstances, a comprehensive evaluation will include  the administration of the  Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2)

Overlooked Autism

Sometimes the characteristics of Autism are missed. This is particularly true for females and ASD Level 1 Autism Spectrum Disorder. Counseling/Support Services
